Our programs consists of various combinations of granular and/or liquid sprayed applications.

We now offer three programs you may choose from:

The Silver, The Bronze, or The Gold


Silver 

Application #1, Spring Application. (Mid-March through Mid-May)

  • Moderate rate fertilizer: to promote green-up and recuperation from winter injury and to maintain adequate consistent growth.

  • Pre-M crabgrass control: goes on turf area prior to crabgrass germination in the spring to control crabgrass and other annual grasses during the season. Control is generally between 75% and 80%.

  • Three-way broadleaf herbicide: helps control many broadleaf weeds in lawn areas, such as dandelion, plantain, chickweed, clover, etc.

Application #2, Early Summer Application. (Mid-May through Mid-July)

  • Light rate fertilizer: to maintain adequate growth and color. Slow release used.

  • A turf insecticide: to control surface feeding, grass damaging insects, such as sod web worms, chinch bugs, army worms, and cutworms.

  • A broadleaf herbicide: applied as weather and environment conditions permit and if weeds are present in the lawn.

Application #3, Summer Application. (Mid-July through Mid-September)

  • Light rate fertilizer: to maintain adequate growth and color as environmental conditions permit. Slow release used.

  • A turf insecticide: to control surface feeding, grass damaging insects, such as sod web worms chinch bugs, army worms, and cutworms.

  • A broadleaf herbicide: applied as weather and environmental conditions permit and if weeds are present in the lawn.

Application #4, Fall Application. (Mid-September through end of November)

  • Heavy rate fertilizer: to provide good balanced nutrition for recuperation from summer injury, and prepare for winter root growth and early spring green-up.

  • Three-way broadleaf herbicide: helps control many broadleaf weeds in lawn areas, such as dandelion, plantain, chickweed, and clover.
